In this conference on the theme of Equity and Inclusion, we explored themes such as listening to those with lived experience with Helen Russell from Tyne and Wear Museums and committing to trauma-informed practice with Maria McEvoy from Volunteering Matters. Amy McGarvey presented findings from NCVO’s Time Well Spent report, focussing on volunteering amongst the global majority.

In this conference on the theme of Experimentation, Maddy Mills from the Family Volunteering Club talked about the importance of taking baby steps towards the future we want to see and Collette Brown from Young Lives vs Cancer gave an overview of experimenting with micro-volunteering.

In this conference on the theme of Collaboration, Sam Clift from the London Transport Museum gave an overview of how the museum’s volunteering strategy was developed in collaboration with volunteers. Lisa Andrews from CVS Tendring led a session on collaborative volunteering in practice.
